Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when we build and support your website or app.
Last updated: 26/10/2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to all website, app, database and related digital services ("Services") that A2B WEBSITES, trading as A2B Websites ("we", "us"), provides to you. Our address is Unit 82A, James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, IP28 7DE, UK. They apply to both business customers and individuals. Where a section applies only to one, we say so.
2. Quotes and agreeing a project
- Our quotes are free and come with no obligation.
- Each quote sets out the work, a fixed price with every charge broken down, and the main timescales.
- A quote stays open for 60 days.
- A contract is formed when you accept the quote in writing (email is fine) or pay the deposit, whichever comes first.
3. Prices and payment
- The price in your quote is the price you pay. We do not add hidden fees.
- If you ask for extra work, we will agree the price with you in writing before we start it.
- Unless your quote says otherwise, we take a deposit of 50% before work begins. The balance is paid when the design is approved and before the site goes live.
- Invoices are payable within 14 days unless stated otherwise.
- If an invoice is paid late, we may pause work and, for business customers, charge interest and compensation as allowed by the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. What we need from you
To deliver on time we need your content, images, logos, decisions and feedback promptly. If things are delayed on your side, our dates may move. You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, anything you give us, and that it does not break anyone else's rights or the law.
5. Timescales
Any dates we give are our best estimates. We will keep you updated and let you know early if anything changes.
6. Revisions and changes
Your quote includes Two (2) rounds of revisions. Changes beyond what was agreed are extra work and will be quoted for before we do them.
7. Ownership
- Once we have been paid in full, you own the design and content we create specifically for you.
- We keep ownership of our own tools, code libraries, templates and know-how, and you receive the right to use them as part of your website or app.
- Third-party themes, plugins and software (such as WordPress and Divi) stay under their own licences.
- Unless you ask us not to, we may show your finished project in our portfolio and on this website.
8. Third-party services
Domains, hosting, plugins, payment providers and similar services are supplied by third parties under their own terms. Unless your quote says we manage them, renewals and their charges are your responsibility. We are not responsible for failures of third-party services outside our control.
9. Hosting, care and support plans
Hosting, maintenance and support are optional and are set out in your quote or a separate plan. Unless agreed otherwise, they continue until either of us ends them with 45 days' written notice.
10. Our standard of work
We will carry out the Services with reasonable care and skill. We will fix faults and bugs that come from our work for 30 days after launch at no extra charge. Anything caused by changes others make, third-party updates, or new requests is quoted separately. If you are an individual, your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these terms.
11. Our liability
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.
- Business customers: we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, or for indirect or knock-on losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the Services the claim relates to.
- Individual customers: we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or being negligent.
12. Your own legal duties
You are responsible for making sure your website or app content, and how you use it, complies with the law, including data protection, advertising and consumer rules. We can point you in the right direction, but this is not legal advice.
13. Cancellation and refunds
Our Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel and when you can get a refund. It forms part of these terms.
14. Ending the contract
Either of us may end the contract by written notice if the other seriously breaks it and does not fix the problem within 14 days of being asked. If we end the contract for this reason, you still pay for work done up to that point.
15. Your information
We handle personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.
16. Complaints
If something is not right, please tell us at info@a2bwebsites.com or on 02922 678 200. We aim to reply within 2 working days and to resolve problems fairly and quickly.
17. Events outside our control
Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as power or internet outages, third-party service failures or severe weather.
18. General
- These terms and your quote are the whole agreement between us. Changes must be agreed in writing.
- If any part is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- These terms are governed by the law of ENGLAND AND WALES. If you are an individual, you also keep the protection of the laws where you live. Courts of ENGLAND AND WALES can hear disputes.
